Mr. Capobianco is both an attorney and CPA and is currently licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Louisiana and Florida. His practice focuses on advising clients with respect to a wide range of issues relating to wills and trusts, sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, corporate and partnership tax matters, charitable planning & giving, private foundations, supporting organizations, life insurance issues and general tax matters. Mr. Capobianco also counsels with clients on an array of important issues relating to family owned businesses, such as succession planning, governance and control, buy-sell agreements, and the relationship of these issues to the overall family estate plan. With over 18 years of diverse tax experience in public accounting and the private practice of law, he has significant experience in all aspects of income and estate taxation, including business, tax and succession planning, sophisticated estate planning, will and trust preparation, charitable trusts and private family foundations, international tax planning, tax return preparation, and IRS audits and appeals. Mr. Capobianco also has considerable experience in other areas of private client law such as venture capital formation, corporate organization and reorganization and international planning and structuring.
Mr. Capobianco holds a Juris Doctor Degree and a Master of Science (Taxation) Degree from the University of Miami and a B.B.A. in accounting from Loyola University, New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Capobianco is a memeber of the American Bar Association section of Taxation and section of Real Property Probate and Trust and the Boston Estate Planning Council.
